Amy Winehouse's 'underwear cleaning addiction'

Amy Winehouse has become addicted to cleaning in her underwear, according to sources.

The ‘Rehab’ singer let the secret slip at a North London charity shop, where she gave away Alexander McQueen dresses and designs by Luella Bartley.

“Amy turned up in a people carrier with loads of stuff in bin liners. Top, top designer gear,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a source as saying.

“You’d imagine half of it would be covered in fag burns and smell of wild nights out but it was all in tip-top condition. Amy was joking with the shop girls that she has become addicted to cleaning.

“She has just moved house and said it was therapeutic getting her Marigolds on in just her underwear and having a clear out,” the source added.

Winehouse 'paid £1m for New Year's Eve gig'

Amy Winehouse will reportedly be paid £1m to perform at a private party in Moscow on New Year's Eve.

According to The Sun, the star will sing for a Russian billionaire and his guests and is using the gig to prepare for her upcoming dates in Brazil.

A source said: "This is the strongest Amy has felt in a very long time.

"She is determined to go down in history as a world-class performer, not someone who ruined a spectacular talent through drugs. The long road back starts in Moscow. This is like a warm-up with a nice financial bonus."

Her spokesman added: "Amy is warming up for her Brazil dates. She's keen to perform in front of a live audience again."

Amy Winehouse confesses to being bisexual

British singer Amy Winehouse has reportedly confessed to a friend that she is bisexual and has had relationships with other women.

The "Back to Black" singer, who married Blake Fielder-Civil in May 2007 but got seperated in August 2009 after Blake filed for divorce on grounds of adultery, reportedly told a friend that she has had relationships with men as well as women, reports News of the World newspaper.

"I like girls as well. I have had relationships with other women but that doesn't mean I don't still love Blake. There is something about being with a woman that is very satisfying. I don't care what people think about me being bi - I do what feels good," Winehouse told her friend.

The friend revealed that the singer has a crush on English singer Cheryl Cole.

"There is nothing restrained about Amy's sexuality. She doesn't hold back and says what she feels. She often talks about other women. Her favourite is Cheryl, who she really fancies. Most women can appreciate another woman's beauty but Amy definitely takes that to the next level," said the friend.

Despite being bisexual, those close to Winehouse still believe she would end up reconciling with Blake, 27.

"Right now, she's absolutely devastated. She's had a horrible few days and doesn't know what to do. Whether she's deluded or not, Amy genuinely believes her and Blake are a fairytale who will end up together one day," said another friend.

Amy Winehouse made her UK stage comeback with The Specials at V Festival with an appearance that NME.COM described as the 'most energetic performance of the day'.

The surprise appearance of Amy Winehouse during 'You're Wondering Now' was greeted with cheers from the massive V Festival crowd. She looked well and waved happily at the crowd as she made her live comeback in the UK.



Amy stayed on stage for the final track 'Ghost Town', before encouraging the crowd to clap The Specials offstage in a performance that went down a storm with the festival crowd. Both The Specials and Amy Winehouse will be a memorable highlight from the festival weekend.

Amy Winehouse In Court - But Looking Fab!

Amy Winehouse arrived in court today looking like she is back on top form, as the pictures above and below show. The controversial singer was appearing at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court for some incident or other where she may or may not have hit somebody in the eye.

Who cares? Amy Winehouse is looking wonderful and healthy, that is the best news we've had about Amy in months. It seems the time away from London has done her the world of good. Now let's hope she can be left alone - but judging by the BBC video below, Winehouse doesn't stand much chance. The press and public love to hound her.....................

Amy Winehouse To Divorce

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil will divorce today as their case goes through the High Court in London. The divorce may explain why Amy was in tears a few days ago when she returned to her native London home. The couple have not seen each other for several months as Winehouse has spent all of this year in St Lucia working on her third album.

The controversial singer has been reported as partying in St Lucia instead of working on her album, something that caused her record label bosses fury. Yet the multi-millionaire Winehouse is looking in better shape since leaving London. She married Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007 but the marriage was put under pressure when he was jailed for assault last year. Adultery is likely to be the main reason for the divorce as Blake is having a child with a woman he met in rehab.

British acts had a great 2008, as the five best selling albums globally were all British, according to official figures. Coldplay led the way with Viva La Vida, selling almost seven million copies around the world during 2008.

Husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from jail yesterday after spending a much documented year behind bars and the press were on a picture frenzy on his return home to London. No wonder Amy struck out at photographers - not even being allowed to leave her apartment without being harassed, on a very emotional day for her and Blake.

According to The Sun, Amy asked the press "who wants some?" as she lunged towards them, as well as flashing her chest and crashing out in the back of a taxi.

Amy Winehouse Rushed To Hospital Again

Amy Winehouse has been rushed to hospital once again, a spokesman for the 24-year-old confirmed she had been taken to University College Hospital but did not say why she had been admitted. Earlier in June she was admitted to hospital after collapsing at home. It was later discovered Amy Winehouse had traces of the lung disease emphysema.

The ambulance was called to her house in Camden, north London.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at approximately 8.40pm to an address in NW1 to reports of an adult female taken unwell.
"We sent an ambulance and a fast response car and the patient has been taken to hospital." According to the BBC website.

Amy Winehouse: Blake Jail Sentence Announced

Amy Winehouse was not in court today as the judge told her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, that he was to be sentenced to 27 months in jail for for attacking a pub landlord and perverting the course of justice.

Blake also admitted at Snaresbrook Crown Court, London trying to make Mr King withdraw his complaint using a £200,000 bribe. Fielder-Civil has already spent nine months in jail on remand.

In his defence, the court heard how Blake was determined to rebuild his life with his wife after a history of self-harm and suicide attempts. Amy Winehouse has vowed to stand by her man and wait for him while he serves his remaining time.

Amy Winehouse: World's Best Selling Album

Amy Winehouse has the Best Selling Album in the world, so far this year. 'Back To Black' has sold 3.67m copies during the first six months of 2008. Total sales of the album has now reached almost 10m (9.78m) as Amy continues to dominate the tabloid newspapers with her private life.

Coldplay look set to steal her crown by the end of the year with 'Viva La Viva', the album went to #1 in the UK and US, selling 2.6m copies in just a few weeks.

Brits are dominating the world music scene this year and X Factor winner Leona Lewis has proved we can make it in America. Her debut album 'Spirit' has sold a staggering 2.4m copies and is currently enjoying chart success in America. The only American in the Top 5 is Jack Johnson in fourth with Welsh sensation Duffy beating Madonna at 5th place with her debut album 'Rockferry'.

Today the sun was out and spirits were high for the second day at Glastonbury, the mud was drying but the hangover was kicking in as the tent warmed up to the morning sun. What better wake up call can you have than the classic Shakin' Stevens? I couldn't resist going to have a gander and watch him perform 'Green Door' and 'Marie' - Not bad for the first performer of the day.

I went to explore the Glastonbury site a bit more (apparently it's the size of Bath) and ended up in the Dance Village watching a band called A Human, who put on the best performance I was to see this year at Glastonbury. Each of the six band members put on a performance to be proud of, the lead singer was so energetic throughout, at one point leaping from the stage and dancing with the crowds. Then taking his shirt off, waving it in the air while rolling on the floor outside the tent - pure genius! This was the band that made a lasting favourable impression on me and hope they do well, especially since the lead singer had just quit work to become a full time musician.

Muddy dancers @ Glastonbury

The afternoon was spent relaxing on the ground at Jazz World listening to the delightful sounds of The Blessing, adding an air of spirituality. Massukos treated the crowds to the vibe of Mozambique followed by Eric Bibb and the legendary Joan Armatrading, who won over the audience like she did back in the 70's.

It was nice and mellow just chilling out to the sounds from the Jazz World stage then it was time to move on and capture more music in the form of Will Young in the Avalon Tent. He proved to be a popular attraction with many more people outside trying to listen in on his gentle performance. I gave up trying to listen so we moved to Dance West for some busting moves with The Grid - not even a drug in sight as we were taken back to the early 90's "rave" tunes.

Amy Winehouse was another highlight for Glastonbury, while she may be out of it during songs, I loved her voice and her tribute to Coventry band The Specials was touching. 'A Message To You Rudy' and 'You're Wondering Now' added credibility to her much talked about appearance.
The night was concluded with Massive Attack, while not my cup of tea, the stage lighting was amazing and the crowds loved the variety of tunes presented.

Amy Winehouse: Glastonbury And Mandela Gigs Back On

Amy Winehouse will be performing at Glastonbury and Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday bash, even though she is still in hospital allegedly suffering from the lung condition emphysema. The troubled singer has not been seen in public since being rushed to hospital last Monday.

According to press reports Winehouse is desperate not to let fans down and will be out of hospital by the weekend with medics on standby at both events just in case Amy collapses again.
