Lily Allen makes first public appearance after miscarriage

Singer Lily Allen has finally returned to the spotlight in London after her miscarriage in October.
The Smile hitmaker retreated to her home in the countryside after the devastating loss of her baby, six months into her pregnancy, reports the Daily Star.

She has kept in touch with fans via Twitter.com, thanking them for their support.

But made her return to the spotlight on Friday when she helped celebrate the launch of the new flagship Miu Miu store on the capital''s Bond Street.

Allen, who also battled septicaemia following her miscarriage, looked healthy at the event.

No Botox for Alexandra Burke
Singer Alexandra Burke admits she battled with body issues when she was younger, but had refused to go under the knife to enhance her looks.

"I never used to be comfortable in my own skin... I have long feet and a short body. But I appreciate now that I'm smaller on the top," dailystar.co.uk quoted her as saying.

"I would never have plastic surgery. Why ruin what you've been given? You don't need Botox and everything. Everyone is individual; there is no one out there the same. Why change that uniqueness about you?

"I did a photo shoot once where they air-brushed my thighs to make them look stick thin and I was like, 'Give me my thighs and my bum back because that's what I have!' I've just been signed to a model agency, and if me and my 5' 3" self can do that, anyone can," she said.

lexandra Burke has confirmed that she plans to make a return trip to Haiti later this year.

The X Factor winner visited the Caribbean country in February after it suffered an earthquake disaster which killed more than 200,000 people. She did so in a bid to raise awareness of the troubles faced by the nation.

Speaking on GMTV today, Burke revealed: "I have every intention of going back nearer autumn to see how everything's going out there."

She continued: "Don't get me wrong, I don't have any family in Haiti whatsoever, but what hurt me the most was that there was people suffering.

I begged my label to go out there and thankfully they let me. It was a real eye-opening experience and I will do everything I can to help."

Alexandra Burke is reportedly dating Amy Winehouse's backing singer.

The pop star - who was warned off men by Cheryl Cole, her mentor on UK TV talent show 'The X Factor', which she won in 2008 - has been spotted out with Zalon Thompson in London.
The 21-year-old beauty was seen with the hunky musician - who has been signed by Amy to her new label Lioness Records - after her single 'Bad Boys' reached number one in the charts last week, and the pair were also seen going out for a romantic dinner and a trip to the cinema.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Alexandra is very fond of Zalon. They've struck up a close relationship over recent months and really enjoy each other's company."
The 'Hallelujah' singer recently revealed she is "looking for a boyfriend".
Alexandra said: "I've only ever had two serious relationships and they were both bad boys.
"I was 16 when I had my first relationship. It lasted about two years. Then I dated another guy for six months last year. But he was a bit of a nutcase."
In July, there were rumours she was dating American singer Cameron Quincy Jagher, but she later denied the claims.
Alexandra previously revealed Cheryl told her to be careful who she dated while she established herself as a music star.
She said: "Cheryl warned me. She said, 'You're not allowed to date dancers, Alex, and you're not allowed to date boys full stop!' "

Robbie Williams Chart Battle Update

Robbie Williams new single 'Bodies' looks set to debut in the UK singles chart on Sunday at number two as former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has been outselling Robbie with her single 'Bad Boys'. Sales of both tracks were lifted by performances on Saturday's X Factor, as seen by 13 million viewers.

The on screen battle between Robbie Williams and Alexandra Burke was won by the former X Factor winner and she looks set to win the UK Charts battle as she outsells Robbie by 2 to 1. On Monday Robbie Williams sold an impressive 40,000 copies of his comeback single and is almost guaranteed the #2 slot, which is a vast improvement on his last single 'She's Madonna' - which charted at number 16.

The only way Robbie Williams will fail to reach number two on Sunday will be if downloads of Boyzone singles surge following the sudden death of Stephen Gately. 'Bodies' will be Robbie Williams highest charting single since 'Tripping' in 2005.

Alexandra Burke has become "friends" with Beyonce Knowles

The 'Single Ladies' singer has become heavily involved with Alexandra after performing a duet with her on the final of British reality TV show 'The X Factor' - which she subsequently won.
The 'Bad Boys' singer has revealed Beyonce has been supporting her throughout the recording of her debut album 'Overcome' in the US.
Alexandra, 21, said: "She's such a lovely woman and now I'm working with all her people.

"In the studio in New York I was singing and I opened my eyes and my girl Beyonce was standing there. I went to cuddle her and cried. She said, 'You can't cry, we're friends now.' And I cried some more.
"I was like, 'You can't tell me things like that. You're Beyonce.' "
Alexandra is remaining tight-lipped on whether 28-year-old Beyonce will appear on her album, but she hopes to perform with former Destiny's Child star soon.
She added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "I can't confirm anything yet, but I'm hoping to be on the European leg of Beyonce's tour."
Alexandra will perform her first single 'Bad Boys' on 'The X Factor' on October 11.
