Robbie Williams 'scared of fatherhood'

Robbie Williams has admitted that he is apprehensive about starting a family.

The Take That star revealed that his wife Ayda Field is "desperate" to have children.

Williams wed Field at his home in Los Angeles last August and in October he denied reports that the pair were trying for a baby, insisting that he's "putting it off for as long as possible".

However, the singer has confessed that he has now come around to the idea.

In an interview with Dutch TV show Rtl Boulevard, he said: "I thought that was part of the job. That's how it goes, isn't it? She desperately wants a child... I am terrified of that.

"I'm going to have to be [a good dad] and I will be because I will have to be. Yeah, I'm selfish. I enjoy doing what I want to do, whenever I want to do it. But on the [other hand], a baby comes into your life and you're forced to not have everything be about you, and that will be good for me."

Robbie Williams Chart Battle Update

Robbie Williams new single 'Bodies' looks set to debut in the UK singles chart on Sunday at number two as former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has been outselling Robbie with her single 'Bad Boys'. Sales of both tracks were lifted by performances on Saturday's X Factor, as seen by 13 million viewers.

The on screen battle between Robbie Williams and Alexandra Burke was won by the former X Factor winner and she looks set to win the UK Charts battle as she outsells Robbie by 2 to 1. On Monday Robbie Williams sold an impressive 40,000 copies of his comeback single and is almost guaranteed the #2 slot, which is a vast improvement on his last single 'She's Madonna' - which charted at number 16.

The only way Robbie Williams will fail to reach number two on Sunday will be if downloads of Boyzone singles surge following the sudden death of Stephen Gately. 'Bodies' will be Robbie Williams highest charting single since 'Tripping' in 2005.

Robbie Williams: New Album Announced

Robbie Williams is back as he announced his new album, 'Reality Killed The Video Star', would be released on 9th November. His first single from the album is called 'Bodies' and will be out on October 12th 2009.

The former Take That singer became the most popular male singer in the UK after leaving the boy band, scoring twenty five Top 10 hits over the years. The press turned against him when he released Rudebox and Robbie spent the past few years in Los Angeles, enjoying a more peaceful life."I thought after the last album came out, things seem to be on the turn, perception wise.

"So I decided to try and stay out of the proverbial limelight for a while. And God knows I've found the old big head routine to be running a bit thin, so I don't blame anybody else feeling the same way.

"As an old manager used to say to me, 'you lads need to go away and cause a vacuum'. I've been vacuuming... and it coincided with me finding someone very special."

He said listeners would hear "old Robbie, new Robbie and a Robbie that neither of us have met".

No Take That Reunion For Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams will NOT be joining Take That on stage, despite constant press rumours. Gary Barlow has said, "People constantly ask if Robbie will rejoin us but nothing has changed,we're a happy band right now. Robbie won't be joining."

Both Robbie Williams and Take That are recording new albums in the same studio, which added to the speculations. Recently Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams buried the hatchet and were spotted talking together at a football match as stories began to circulate about a possible reunion between Robbie and Take That.

Gary Barlow's comments this weekend have put the reunion rumours to rest as it appears the former band mate will be left outside of any future plans following his departure in 1995.

Robbie Williams In Swindon

Robbie Williams was spotted out buying a bike in Swindon - even though he was dressed like the man from the Cadbury's Milk Tray advert. The former Take That singer may have been trying to keep out of the press after revelations about his early days in Take That.

As fans gathered outside Robbie managed to say 'Hello everybody' as he left and signed a few autographs before hurrying into his blacked out people carrier.

The incident happened when the band first started out and Howard Donald admitted, "It were me and Rob... it only happened once." The interview can be found in the latest issue of Q Magazine with further revelations out now.

Howard says in the interview about Robbie Williams, "We smoked weed and giggled like idiots, and before Take That I dabbled with drugs."

Robbie Williams: The Fat Picture

Robbie Williams certainly looks a lot different these days as he stays out of the limelight during his stay in America. The former Take That singer has piled on the pounds since his career took a turn for the worse, being compared to Elvis.
To be fair, Robbie Williams has always had weight fluctuations, so it would be cruel to joke or jibe him for how he looks today. It must be hard to stay in tip top shape when your career veers off course - this is far from the end of Robbie Williams.

Spice Girls To Replace Robbie Williams?

Robbie Williams uncensored naked Rock DJ video

It looks like Robbie Williams will have to do more than just get naked for his next video if reports in the Metro are to be believed. OK, stop staring at Robbie's willy in the picture and focus on the story ...................

According to the Metro, Robbie Williams looks set to be replaced by the Spice Girls as the big cheese at record label EMI. Robbie has had a tough year as his popularity went down and Take That's went from strength to strength. Sales of Robbie's last album were down considerably and record chiefs need an international act that can sell records. The return of the Spice Girls has generated a lot of media interest and the "Greatest Hits" album has sold well around the globe, so EMI may well take a risk and opt for a brand new Spice Girls album on the back of the successful world tour.

Robbie Williams signed an £80 million deal in 2002 to produce six albums for EMI, the signer still has two albums left in his record breaking contract. His last single "She's Madonna" charted at #16 and then dropped out of the Top 30 the following week. Yet the Spice Girls would need new material that would chart higher than their comeback single "Headlines", which scraped into the charts at #11 last month.
