Girls Aloud To Return Without Nadine Coyle

As reported back in March on this blog, it seems Girls Aloud will return in 2011 without Irish singer Nadine Coyle. The Sun reports that the other four girls are set to return and work on new material and begin touring again.

The newspaper reports a source as saying, "It's been a painful decision for Sarah, Nicola, Kimberley and Cheryl but they have decided that the future of Girls Aloud lies without Nadine.

"They've all been on a roller-coaster ride since 2002 and have just grown apart from Nadine.

"Relations with her had been strained within the camp for a while.

"Disputes began cropping up towards the final days of the band before they went on a hiatus.

"The four remaining girls want to return on their own terms - and avoiding any squabbles is a high priority.

"That's why they have decided to go on without Nadine."

Nadine Coyle has spent most of her time in America with boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe and has been working on her own solo material, and has opened her own bar near Los Angeles. Nadine angered the other Girls Aloud members when she refused to take part in the girls' 2008 TV series The Passions Of Girls Aloud. Watch this space for more news...................

Nadine To Leave Girls Aloud?

Girls Aloud are on the brink of becoming a four piece group as it looks like Nadine Coyle could be leaving as reports in the weekend press suggest. The Irish singer has been spending most of her time in America setting up her solo career and has hardly been in contact with the other members of Girls Aloud.

According to the News of the World - Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and even Cheryl Cole are all eager to get back into the studio at the end of the year to record a new Girls Aloud album. The girls have recently signed a new three album deal yet Nadine is less than enthusiastic about working with her band mates. Apparently Nadine has no plans to work with Girls Aloud for the rest of 2010 but the other girls are seriously considering continuing without her.

A week earlier the same newspaper reported that Nadine Coyle HAD been in contact with all four band members.

Nadine Coyle Forgets Her Bra

The Girls Aloud singer turned heads as she arrived at the Kings of Leon gig in Los Angeles wearing a see through black top without a bra. The 23 year old is about to launch her solo career that the press have billed as a head to head battle with Cheryl Cole.

Nadine has been capturing the attention of record labels over in the States and has no shortage of offers. While it seems she may be short on bra's, Coyle knows how to work the media as she arrived at the LA Forum on Saturday night with her American footballer boyfriend Jason Bell.

Girls Aloud Singer Weighs Food Then Sends It Back!

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle shocked diners at posh London restaurant, The Ivy as she weighed her food then ordered the rest to be taken away.
According to The Sun newspaper, Nadine ordered a plain fish from the waiter and then produced a pair of digital scales from her bag.

It seems Nadine has come along way from her humble beginnings as a winner on the reality programme Popstars: The Rivals. One onlooker said she looked as if, "it was the most normal thing in the world."

Concerns have been growing over the weight loss within Girls Aloud as we reported last month in our Skinny Sarah Harding story.

Girls Aloud Going Solo?

It's official, Girls Aloud are to pursue solo projects according to their spokesman and rumoured on websites like this for months. Once the current 'Out of Control' tour ends, solo projects will begin in earnest.

Cheryl Cole has had several offers from various music producers with her spokesman saying, "Cheryl is going to work on some solo music - there is no release date set for this yet as she has not recorded any music." Sarah Harding has already been building up her acting roles with a part in the BBC Two drama Freefall. Nadine spends a lot of her time in America where she has set up side projects and moved her family out there.

Split rumours have always been denied by Girls Aloud and they have signed up for another three albums with Polydor with the first of those albums set for release late 2010.

Nadine Sparks Girls Aloud Split Rumours

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has sparked fresh rumours the band could be on the verge of splitting up after noticeably being absent from the glitzy Music Industry Trust Award last night in London.

On the week Girls Aloud release their fifth studio album 'Out of Control', could it be that Nadine Coyle has gone out of control and on the verge of quitting Britain's most popular girl band?

Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts appeared happy and upbeat at the musical extravaganza last night, posing for photographers and were even pictured with Take That (see picture below). The Sun newspaper described the meeting as 'the moment Britain’s biggest girl band met Britain’s biggest man band.'

Girls Aloud have denied all rumours of any kind of split, even with Cheryl Cole's 'X Factor' commitments and Nadine Coyle's US business ventures but stories about the demise of Girls Aloud resurfaced when Sarah Harding was quoted as saying they had "one or two albums left".

Girls Aloud are back with a brand new video 'The Promise' (as seen below) and Rob Cable has captured Cheryle Cole, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh beautifully in these five pictures.

The Promise is out on October 27th and looks set to become the 19th top 10 single by Girls Aloud, who look set to end the year on a high with an ITV show featuring interviews and music.

Girls Aloud Set For Busy 2009

Girls Aloud look set for another busy year in 2009 as they confirm that they are not splitting up. Kimberley, Cheryl, Sarah, Nicola and Nadine are all booked up for the coming year and have no plans to slow down.

The record breaking girls will be following up their successful album 'Tangled Up' with more of the same in 2009. The new calendar is available to order now and by the looks of these pictures - Girls Aloud are here to stay!

Girls Aloud: New Album Update

Girls Aloud are set to end 2008 on a high, with a new album due for release in November and a single in October. It looks like our prediction that Girls Aloud would split in 2008 will prove false as Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Cole are working on their fourth studio album.

Even though several of the girls have been involved with different projects, all five remained committed to Girls Aloud for this year's UK tour and are all working hard on the new album. A source has been reported as saying that the girls were very excited about the new album and think it is their best yet.

Their previous albums have all done well in the UK album charts - Sound of the Underground #2 in 2003, What Will The Neighbours Say #6 in Dec 2004, Chemistry #11 in Dec 2005, The Sound Of Girls Aloud - The Greatest Hits #1 in Nov 2006 and Tangled Up #4 in Dec 2007.

Girls Aloud: Splitting Up?

Girls Aloud splitting up? Well they might be if they each keep going their own way. I predicted previously on this blog that Girls Aloud would split later this year, and more and more cracks seem to be appearing.

Sure they have their UK tour coming up, of course fans still buy their records but have the girls learnt nothing from previous "girl power" groups? The Spice Girls began solo projects to go along side their work in the group, but soon these side projects began to demand more and more time until the cracks split the group into not working as a single unit anymore.

This week Nadine Coyle has opened up her very own scented candle shop in Los Angeles to go with her Mexican restaurant and wants to create a chain store selling her new products. Soon she will be spending even more time in America and less time with her band mates. Cheryl Cole is riding high in the UK charts with her collaboration with Will.i.am on 'Heartbreaker' fuelling speculation she will opt for a solo career in the near future.

Meanwhile, Sarah Harding was given a horse as an engagement present from lover Tom Crane, so may be busy riding that, in between getting drunk! Kimberley Walsh revealed she would be interested in a career on the stage when Girls Aloud split and Nicola Roberts just hates being the "ugly one" in the group!

Will the spilt happen in 2008, lets wait and see...........

Your days are numbered when your dad goes to the newspapers to say you are not going to split! This is what the father of Girls Aloud singer Kimberly Walsh has done after newspaper rumours seemed to be circulating that Girls Aloud were set to split this year.

It's got to be a nail in the coffin when he said: "The band might well have a break of a few weeks or something, but that wouldn't be until the end of the year."

Let's face it , if the band have the end of the year off when it is the busiest time in the music industry, then they might as well quit after the tour. I think someone in Girls Aloud will get pregnant (most likely - Sarah Harding or Cheryl Cole) and it looks like Nadine Coyle will want to get married during 2008, probably to anyone! At least some things won't change - Nicola Roberts will keep the same facial expressions during 2008 no matter what!
