Tooth Fairy
A clumsy fable populated with cloying kids and a predictable hold-on-to-your-dreams message, Tooth Fairy finds the guy formerly known as The Rock further solidifying his post-WWE persona as America's cuddliest muscleman. Dwayne Johnson stars as a cynical minor league hockey player nicknamed the Tooth Fairy (because he knocks out opponents' chops) who's transformed into an actual leave-the-cash-under-the-pillow pixie as punishment for nearly robbing his girlfriend's daughter of her childhood right to believe in magic. With his mighty thighs bulging through baby-blue tights, Johnson works his brawny appeal, but he labors for laughs. British comic Stephen Merchant (Extras), however, exudes an easier charm as a goofy fairyland caseworker who harbors big dreams of his own.
