Kareena wears Rs.8 lakh worth dress

Believe it or not, actress Kareena Kapoor wore a dress worth Rs.8 lakh for a particular song in the film Kambakkht Ishq. It is said that producer Sajid Nadiadwala had ordered the dress from Paris specially for Kareena. The news of the expensive dress has spread far and wide. It is said that Kareena looked wonderful in the dress.

Throwing one more surprise, the producer gifted the dress to Kareena, making the talkative girl went short of words to express her feeling. Kambakkht Ishq has Kareena in the role of a supermodel and Akshay Kumar is the lead actor. It also features international big names like Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards.

Kareena Kapoor Refuse To Dance

Earlier Kareena used to perform on her hit dance numbers at any bigwigs wedding party but now before the year closes by she made a New Year resolution that she would not dance at weddings anymore. She said that she is firm on her decision and has taken the choice keeping in mind the prestige of her family as dancing in wedding parties are not look upon respect.

According to a source, “Her desicion seems to be influenced by her boyfriend Saif. They are serious about their relationship and marriage is on the cards. Saif belongs to the royal family of Pataudi and this is Kareena’s way of not indulging in anything that might prove embarrassing to to Saif or anymore else in his family”.

Kareena feels that being a youth icon and a top heroine of Bollywood dancing in wedding parties will lead down her prestige and reputation. She further said that she has taken the decision in the interest of her fans and her family.

Kareena Kapoor decided to drop the size zero

Kareena Kapoor has decided to drop the size zero avatar and kick up the weight a few notches. Initially, when Bebo entered the film world, she was known for her chubbiness. However, as her popularity grew and she became a fashion icon, this Kapoor girl realized the importance of being fit and fine. She hit the gym and took to some power yoga to lose oodles and oodles of weight. Her size zero look became a rage and audiences saw her flaunting her new look in Tashan and Golmaal Returns. But that is all a thing of the past.

Cut to the present and for her upcoming movies she needs to get back her more “fuller” bod so KK is back to her usual eating habits. So she can play the role to the T, she is piling on the pounds for Kambakt Ishq with Akshay Kumar in which she plays a surgeon who is a wannabe model who moves to Italy to make her dreams a reality. In Bebo’s opinion, the character couldn’t have the body of a supermodel. After KI, she will be working on Mr. and Mrs. Khanna with Salman Khan where she enacts the role of a homely wife.

Kareena Kapoor:"I don't want be size zero any more"

Size zero is out for actress Kareena Kapoor. In her next release, "Kambakht Ishq", she plays a surgeon who moonlights as a supermodel and for it she has put on extra pounds.

"I weigh 54 kg now, which for a girl of my height is quite fine. People used to wonder what ’size zero’ is and I’d joke, ’Just look at me’. I don’t want that any more. I want to look like a normal healthy girl. My forthcoming releases required me to get back to a fuller shape," said Kareena, who sported size zero in "Tashan" and "Golmaal Returns".

"In ’Kambakht Ishq’, my character flies to Italy to become a supermodel to support herself financially. I didn’t want to play the character looking like an international model because she’s basically in another profession. So she can’t really have the figure of Victoria Beckham, can she? I had to look more filled up," she told IANS.

In "Mr & Mrs Khanna" too, Kareena is sporting the same look."Again, for my next release ’Mr & Mrs Khanna’ with Salman Khan, I play a wife. So I wanted to look more filled up. Not that wives can’t be curvaceous. The one I played in ’Golmaal Returns’ certainly was," she said.

Kareena to share her fashion online

Kareena’s official website is going to be more fashion oriented. The site will have updates not only of Kareena’s fashion trends but also the other trends that take place all over the globe," revealed a source close to the actress.

The source added, "Her website is going to be absolutely tech savvy kind. It’s going to be on the lines of Victoria Beckham, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez’s sites and fashion pages. Completely international befitting a celebrity of her stature."

Style icon Kareena has always had a passion for fashion. "There have been a number of occasions where Kareena actively participated in designing her costumes for films. Kareena Kapoor feels chill

Known to be quite ‘cold’ at times, Kareena Kapoor these days is feeling the chill. Literally speaking, of course!

The actress was in Ladakh shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, when the cold weather played spoilsport for the actress. It was because of the low temperatures that Bebo was unable to pursue ‘power yoga’, something she likes to do first thing in the morning.

The tough climate there made it impossible for the actress to go about her daily regime. And obviously, the Kapoor girl wasn’t too happy about it. But now that the cast and crew have shifted base to the beautiful and more bearable Shimla, Bebo is back to her body basics! Work it out, girl!

Kareena’s sparkling birthday gift

Kareena is the choice of every member of the Nawab of Pataudi. After Saif introduced Bebo to all his family members, they accepted her as Saif’s begum. As Bebo is celebrating her birthday on September 21st, Saiffu dear wished to gift his sweetheart something special. After a deep thought, he approached sister Saba who is a jewelry designer to design something exquisite for the birthday babe. Saba is equally happy to design jewelry for bhabhi Kareena whom his bro loves so much.

As the piece needs to be very much special, Saba is putting a deep thought on its designing, As Saif has given the task to Saba at the eleventh hour, Kareena will not receive Saba’s creation on September 21, when she celebrates her birthday. Instead, Saba hopes it will be ready by New Year.

Saba is camera shy and so, she did not opt for Bollywood while her bro and sister Soha Ali Khan took up acting. Saba enjoys designing jewelry and is looking forward to some more new creations.

Saif and Kareena to tour Europe

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s first solo appearance at Sharjah last week, with Minissha Lamba in tow, was received well. As a result, the Morani brothers (who organised the show) are planning a series of shows across Europe.

Mohammed Morani says, "The Sharjah show (on August 21) was successful. We are now planning a series of their (Saifeena’s) shows across Europe and the Middle East. The show had a big turnout. Kareena and Saif are a good-looking star couple whom people want to see on stage together. They have become hugely popular in Dubai and Europe because of Race and Jab We Met. Though they didn’t end up performing together, they are very keen to do something together."

Kareena adds, "We had a great show. Saif is in talks with the Moranis to plan it for other destinations. We had a crowd of over 20,000 people which was extremely heart-warming." Minissha says, "I didn’t do too many shows earlier but the Sharjah one was super fun! I was not in the least bit nervous. In fact, it felt like the most natural thing to be on stage. Now I am definitely looking forward to entertaining my audience on stage."

Kareena kapoor leaving for Paris

Kareena Kapoor’s ex- Shahid kapoor and current love, Saif Ali Khan will tour together this July for a worldwide entertainment show.

Kareena Kapoor’s current beau Saif Ali Khan and her ex boyfriend will share the stage for the Bachchan’s Unforgettable World Tour. The tour is supposed to kick off in July and will have Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan performing all across Europe and US.

Akshay Kumar who had earlier opted out of the tour will be performing in select cities. They will also perform on special songs composed by Vishal-Shekhar. Riteish Deshmukh and Bipasha Basu will also be a part of the tour

Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have apparently ironed out all differences and do not mind touring together.

Kareena kapoor moving to hollywood

Finally Bollywood sexy actress Kareena Kapoor has been signed for a real Hollywood movie with a big time Hollywood co-star and director.Rumors were rife that she was in talks with Hollywood Biggies for her foray into Hollywood. But her deal has taken Bollywood by surprise.

So, Kareena will star with actor Billy Zane of Mummy and Titanic fame. She will be directed also by a Hollywood heavyweight Daniel Silver man who has to his credit Perfect strangers and the Devil wears Prada.

The film named ‘Chamera’, will be shot in North India in a month long schedule. Kareena Kapoor plays an Asian girl. An agent for the actress confirmed, “This is one of the many projects that Kareena has been offered. They are paying her a handsome amount since she fits the role perfectly. She will be making an official announcement soon.”

A hot real couple paring again!

Their much awaited and much hyped film ‘Tashan’ crashed at the box office despite Kareena flaunting her zero size figure in the film. But this has in no way disheartened Saifeena (Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor) from venturing into projects together.

They are already working in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Agent Vinod’ and untitled film for Rensil D’Silva. The latest addition to this list is the film they have signed for the production house Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. Incidentally, this film is a part of the three-film deal, which Kareena had signed with Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd.

The spokesperson for Ashtavinayak confirmed the news saying, “Yes, Saif and Kareena have been signed for a film to be made under the Ashtavinayak banner. It is an action film but the director is yet to be finalized. The film will go on floors sometime next year (2009).”

Kareena should teach Katrina how to laugh

Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh made the IIFA 2008 night all the more interesting with their good sense of humour. The funny guys who made fun of almost everything and everyone under the sun became the reason for celebrities grumbling under their breath. They performed a gag in which they showed their own versions of the best film nominations like Partner, Jab We Met etc was really funny and had the entire audience in splits. But there were few who didn"t seem so happy with these guys making fun of their films and amongst them was Katrina Kaif! The sweet charmy was gloomy while the guys were cracking on the IIFA stage. Seemingly, Kat was carrying a Sallu-affected image.

But see, in the same space Bebe was all so cool and enjoyed cracklings all through their performance. Katrina should learn a lesson from Kareena. The latter was laughing even though Riteish and Boman didn’t shy away from making Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan a happy couple after showing Kareena eloping with Riteish and Boman.

Well, it would be interesting to see whether Kat’s angry boyfriend Salman takes all these sportingly or else both Ritiesh and Boman would have to face the same fate as Vivek Oberoi, who is struggling for films after his problems with Sallu Miya.

Bollywood’s hottest couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are leaving no stone unturned to keep their relationship intact. And Saif is taking the extra mile to be with her, because lack of communication could cost their relationship.
