In an interview to be published in the latest edition of America's TV Guide magazine, the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star said: "I'd love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex and the City."
The recent film version of the hit HBO TV series - starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrell - was rated R16 and contained nudity, bad language and explicit sex scenes.
Cyrus also said she wore a purity ring because she wanted to promote virginity among younger girls.
"I like to think of myself as the girl that no one can get, that no one can keep in their hand," she told TV Guide.
"Even at my age, a lot of girls are starting to fall and I think if (staying a virgin) is a commitment girls make, that's great."
She refused to discuss her recent raunchy photo scandals.
"I don't dwell on the negativity. I want to be a positive role model, so we just try to keep [that stuff] as much not talked about as possible."
More raunchy photos allegedly of Cyrus appeared on the net yesterday, purporting to show the star in the shower and baring her midriff.
Some internet sites claimed the photos were faked.
This comes after Cyrus' "topless" photo in Vanity Fair magazine made international headlines, and several other raunchy photos of the star were leaked.
