The Enemy: RICOH Support Act Revealed

The Enemy perform two massive home coming gigs at Coventry's RICHO Arena on the 5th and 6th April, and I can reveal that Boy Kill Boy will be the support act both nights, while The Displacements will be supporting The Enemy in Coventry on the 5th April as well as other dates in the tour. Lowline will performing on April 6th as well at London's Astroria on April 1st.

The four piece London/South East band Boy Kill Boy are connected to The Enemy through John Dawkins, who previously managed Boy Kill Boy. Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, the band said:

"Our former manager, John Dawkins, arranged one of the first Boy Kill Boy
gigs in his hometown of Coventry and afterwards there was a young lad helping
move our gear.

"John said he was a talented drummer who he was trying to get into a
band and he was asking our opinion on various demos he was sent.

"That young guy is now the drummer with The Enemy so we like to think
we had something to do with their success.

"We're really proud of them and it will be interesting playing with
them in front of a big crowd."

The Displacements are a four piece band from Leicester and will be supporting The Enemy at most of the tour dates this month, then they will be touring the UK on their own headline tour.

"Hotly tipped for 2008, The Displacements look set to be the ones to watch out
for in the coming months."

Lowline hail from Manchester and their sound impressed renowned Oasis and the Verve producer Owen Morris so much, that he immediately took the band into the studio and recorded some tracks over many late nights. The band have just released their debut single "Monitors" and are looking forward to a great 2008.
