Earlier, Venkat Prabhu booked Neetu Chandra as heroine for the film but now he decided to replace Neetu Chandra and Trisha got the offer. The film Mangatha is Trisha’s second film with the actor Ajithkumar. Her earlier film with Ajith is Kireedam.
