SONAM KPOOR NOW SOLVE WITH ASH

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor
Dumping the L’Oreal issue, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor turned friends. They joined hands at Karan Johar’s party. Ash has sorted out the differences. The duo garnered much attention recently due to their cat-fights. The spark from both the sides was so strong that the issue became a national news. However, everything between them has now sorted out and they are now making news for their new friendship. Sonam Kapoor is even going to make her stage debut at the IIFA event in which the Bachchans are playing the most important part. In fact, the Bachchan bahu is also going to perform this IIFA. Sonam will shake her legs and body to the Masakali song from Delhi-6. She is quite excited and looking forward to this great event with high hopes.

Imran to love Sonam

Both are young and sweet, undoubtedly they will make the best pair in Bollywood and will ablaze the silver screen with their hot chemistry. It is really a good idea to rope in the new Khan of the industry, Imran Khan and the Kapoor gal, Sonam Kapoor. Kunal Kohli whose last film ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ did not work out well is about to make a film with Imran and Sonam. It will be directed by his assistant Danish Aslam. Further the source informs, “The subject of the film is quite young and it requires a young pairing and so we are in talks with many actors and as if now we haven’t finalized anyone but Kohli is eager to take Imran and Sonam.

Let’s see how the things will go on floors.” About the film, a source tells, “The main leads of the film need to have an appeal to the youth since it’s a love story. Imran Khan was quite impressive in Jaane Tu and similarly Sonam Kapoor‘s acting was good in Delhi 6 and so the young pairing would be the perfect choice for the film.” Really, it will be lovely to see Imran sharing screen space with Sonam.

Homely girl Sonam Kapoor to go hip!

sonam+kapoor+10

After playing homely girl in her previous two films, Sonam Kapoor is now set to go hip in dad Anil Kapoor’s home production ‘Ayesha’.

Kapoor, who has already produced Gandhi My Father , has planned this film exclusively for his daughter. He has roped in writer Devika Bhagat to write the narrative of ‘Ayesha’, which is based on Jane Austen’s famous novel ‘Emma’. Sonam gets to play desi Emma, one who is young, witty and rich. Devika has earlier penned the story of Bachna Ae Haseeno .

Sonam will be seen in an ultra-mod chic look for portraying Emma, as Anil Kapoor believes that the story of Emma can be told well in contemporary Indian context. The film will be set in a metropolis. Of late, Sonam has been shedding her traditional looks; her recent photo-shoots (especially for Verve) and public appearances say it all.

Sonam-Shahid Kapoor to pair up for Yash Raj films

Her debut movie did not fare very well at the box office but Sonam Kapoor has been very choosy about her projects. She is currently busy with ‘Delhi 6’ and had turned down a movie offer opposite Hrithik Roshan because the role demanded too much of exposure and Sonam did not want to compromise with her values. She was also considered by Aditya Chopra for ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ but was later dropped out because she failed to look like a seventeen year old on screen.

However, Aditya just could not resist his temptation to cast Sonam and now, the latest buzz is that Yash Raj films has signed Sonam Kapoor for their next production and in this romantic project, Sonam will be sharing space with Shahid Kapoor.

Sonam Kapoor doing hot scenes

Ranbir-sonam-kapoor

After Ranbir, Abhishek Bachchan is Sonam’s second co-star. And she’s enjoying every bit of his company in Dilli 6.

"Abhishek and I are very well -matched, height-wise. And though he’s very mischievous I find him very mature. While Ranbir is someone I’ve grown up with, Abhishek is a someone I can look up to as a co-star. He’s really cool. In fact, " she adds. "I’m learning so much from all my co-stars in Dilli 6. Abhishek and I, and our director Rakeysh Mehra are so much in awe of Waheeda Rehmanji. During rehearsals every time she reads a scene there’s pindrop silence for a few minutes. We’re all busy staring at her. When people, including Waheedaji herself, said I look like her I feel I’ll just faint with pride."

Sonam Kapoor is exhausted in Jaipur. She has been getting just about five hours of sleep per day to make up for lost time and for the absence of her co-star Abhishek.

Growing sad she sighs, "Abhishek lost his grandmom and I lost my grandfather. I was very very close to him. And my one regret is I couldn’t meet him before he passed away. The last I saw him was about a fortnight before his death. My Nanaji was loads of fun." "The role was extremely sensuous. That’s fine, " opines the young eager and talented actress. "But it also required a lot of nudity and there was one major love-making scene. It was a smashing opportunity for me to go beyond what I’ve done in Saawariya and my second film Dilli 6. But I can’t do anything that I’m not comfortable with. "

For a sequence Sonam had to get into chic attire. "When I came on the set Rakeysh looked at me, and said I should quickly revert to my salwar-kameez look. Because of my dad everyone treats me like a child. I can’t be doing any role which would make my father, mother and the rest of my family cringe at the premiere.

Call me a prude, but that’s that way I am. My father has a 40-year reputation in the industry. And I’m not going to tarnish it."Thought it’s freezing cold in Jaipur, Sonam is swamped in the warmth of Rakeysh Mehra’s unit of Dilli 6."Working on Saawariya was like being part of an extended family. I’ll always look on Sanjay Bhansali as a parent beyond my parents.

Whatever I know about acting and cinema is because I was associated with him as an assistant and then an actress. Here with Rakeysh Mehra it’s different, though equally enjoyable. I’ve been pampered silly during Saawariya. Now I’m learning to be much more professional."
