England under 21's beat Germany tonight at Coventry's Ricoh Arena in front of a 32,000 sell out crowd. Leighton Baines scored in the 77th minute in this first leg play off for the European Championship in Holland next year.
For me, I'm proud the FA picked Coventry as the location to play this game as it not only gave Coventry a chance to prove we can host such a game - but also a chance for people in the Midlands to see an England game rather than constantly having to go to London.
The sell out crowd proves Coventry is a good location for large sporting events.
