A new remastered compilation of one of pop music's most successful band -'ABBA's- hits is set for worldwide release on December six.
The special edition set will feature all of the group's hits and the videos for each of their hits from 1992's multi-platinum (sales of six million units) 'ABBA Gold - Greatest Hits' CD and its gold-certified (sales of 5,00,000 sales) home video compilation of the same title.
The stand-alone CD has sold more than 28 million copies worldwide and contains 19 of the Swedish band's pop classics like ''Dancing Queen'', ''Take a Chance on Me'', ''Waterloo'' and ''The Winner Takes It All'', ''SOS,'' ''Knowing Me, Knowing You,'' and ''Fernando.'' The DVD will feature all 19 video clips of the hits directed by Lasse Hallstrom, who has also directed films like ''My Life As A Dog'', ''What's Eating Gilbert Grape'' and ''Chocolate.'' The edition will also contain bonus selections of ''Before-and-After'' split-screen comparisons of five original film clips and their remastered versions. Also included will be a recently discovered cartoon version of ''Money, Money, Money,'' ''Circa 1977''. ABBA (1972-1983) has sold over 375 million copies worldwide.
