The Enemy - NME Pictures and News

The Enemy feature in this weeks NME, with a cracking review of the album "We'll Live And Die In These Towns" on page 32 and a great studio picture of Tom, Liam and Andy. The album gets respectable 8/10, not bad for a debut album.
"........may not be trendy, fashionable or any of the other empty adjectives
that matter so much just an hour and a half down the road in London, but it's
blisteringly frank, frequently inspiring, consistantly brilliant...."
You can listen to the whole album over at www.nme.com and get other exclusive music freebies. You can see Tom Clarke in his NME cover shoot from a few weeks ago, and catch The Enemy in action (like the picture above from the Leadmill, Sheffield).
The lads are also in this months "The Fly" magazine, lots of pictures and an interview to keep fans happy - it's also free from all good music venues which is a bonus!
Talking of free, The Enemy are keeping their feet firmly on the ground as they return to the "city of dreams" (yes, that's Coventry to you!) on Friday 13th July, for an exclusive instore performance and signing for the new album. HMV will be hosting the event and it's a wrist band only entry so get there early. The following night the lads will be playing the Godiva Festival in Coventry, once again it is a free event but get in the tent early as last year it attracted over 75,000 visitors. Even if it rains you'll be undercover, just as long as your inside the Electric Tent. The headline act follows The Enemy and is none other than the Super Furry Animals. Earlier on Saturday (14th) The Ripps will be performing in front of the home crowd, so if you want to find out what Coventry has to offer - get your arse to the FREE event!
